The Quantum Mirror: A New Psychological Sci‑Fi Thriller Arrives June 23

I’m excited to officially announce The Quantum Mirror, a new psychological sci-fi thriller launching June 23.

Set aboard a failing Russian space station during a violent solar storm, the novel follows astronaut Sarah Mitchell as she arrives expecting a rescue mission—and instead finds a dead crew, collapsing systems, and a mystery that quickly spirals out of control.

But the real danger aboard the station isn’t just mechanical failure.

It’s something far more personal.

As Mitchell and her team struggle to survive, they uncover a quantum device that exposes truths no one is prepared to face. Buried memories surface. Tensions fracture the crew. When it dredges up her past, she’s haunted by the one voice she could never silence. The one that taught her she was never enough.

A Different Kind of Space Thriller

With The Quantum Mirror, I wanted to write a story that combines the tension of a claustrophobic space survival thriller with a more psychological and philosophical core. This is not hard science fiction focused primarily on engineering problems or orbital mechanics. The science matters, but the story is ultimately about identity, self-deception, trauma, and the fragile narratives people build to survive.

If you enjoy stories where the environment is dangerous but the human mind becomes the real battlefield, this book was written for you.

Readers who enjoy films and novels like SolarisMoonEvent Horizon, or psychologically driven science fiction stories about isolated crews under pressure will likely feel at home here.

Returning to the Ares Universe

While The Quantum Mirror is a completely standalone story, it takes place within the broader universe established in Ares.

That means longtime readers may notice subtle connective tissue between the novels, but no prior reading is required. If this is your first book of mine, you can jump in here without missing anything.
